The main office of
Brown, Fagen &
Rouse is located in Dallas Center,
Iowa, where we have been
continuously located since 1933.
We also have an office in Grimes,
Iowa.
We help our clients manage their affairs
by providing timely legal responses
that quickly address both
opportunities and uncertainties.
Clients can rely on our attorneys to
be approachable, responsive,
efficient, and effective. At
our very core, we focus on each
client's background, needs, and
goals. That's where we start.
With you. And we never stray
from the idea that your needs set
our course. We speak in plain
English, respond promptly to
questions and concerns, report
regularly on case developments, and
stay on top of changes in Iowa law.
Our firm is AV-rated, the highest
rating given by the
Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory,
and we are listed in the
Martindale Hubbell Bar Register of
Preeminent Lawyers.
Our roots go back to 1921, when Guy
H. Hall began the practice of law in
Dallas Center. In 1933 he built the
building we now occupy. John C.
McDonald began practicing law in
Dallas Center in 1948, and in 1951
he and Mr. Hall formed the Hall and
McDonald firm. Mr. Hall died in 1964
and Mr. McDonald died on December 2,
2005.
Peter A. Keller joined the firm in
1970, but left us in 1986 upon his
appointment as an Iowa District
Court Judge. Ralph R. Brown joined
the firm in 1977; Charles H. Fagen
in 1987; and Benjamin L. Rouse in
2005.
Though our composition has changed
over the years, our commitment to
the well being of valued clients
throughout Iowa has remained steady.
